Angul : An 8-year-old girl was rescued in an unconscious state near a drain at the bus terminal here on Sunday. The minor girl was rescued by her family members, who later admitted her to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment.
According to reports, the girl has sustained critical injuries on her face and head. It is being suspected that she was raped and then dumped at near the drain at night. Meanwhile, the Police has launched a probe into the matter. Further details are awaited.
