Maoists called Malkangiri bandh on 20th December…..

Reportedly, in a duo encounters between maoists & security personnel in Panasput  on October 12 and at Sindurpali on 12 November, maoists claimed as false encounter by security personnel. For which Andhra-Odisha Special Zonal Committee leader Jagabandhu issued a letter to media persons. In the said letter they mentioned in the encounters security personnel claimed mao leader Meena was killed at Panasput, Swabhiman area of Malkangiri. Similarly, in Sindurpali Kirti, Susila and Suni including 2 more mao cadres were killed. Maoists strictly claim security personnel killed innocent peoples. The both encounters were all false encounters. For the said reason maoists called Malkangiri bandh on 20th November.
Taking view the seriousness Malkangiri District Administration tightened the security in the District. The police station are put on red alert. Incoming and outgoing vehicles are checked in the District. A vigilant eye is kept on each movement of maoists in and outside of the District.
