The Indian Men’s Hockey Team, who took home the silver medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, is anxious to keep up their impressive play and win the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup in 2023, which will be held in Bhubaneswar-Rourkela.
Manpreet Singh, the captain of the Indian men’s hockey team, said, “For us, this is a very exciting time. The World Cup will start in just 100 days. Vice-captain of the Indian Men’s Hockey Team Harmanpreet Singh said, “We cannot wait for the World Cup to begin. Our team has grown manifold in the last few years and it’s time to play to our full potential and win the FIH Hockey World Cup for India. We have been working on all the aspects of our game that we need to improve and I feel we will put up an even better performance in this edition of the World Cup.”

The first game of the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela will be played on January 13, 2023, at the brand-new Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela between the Indian Men’s Hockey Team and Spain.
