The murderer, Sachin Aggarwal, who brutally murdered his 26-year-old lover Tanu Kure on the pretext of cheating, has finally been apprehended by Turekela police in Bolangir.
On October 24, 2022, locals in the cashew nut grove within the boundaries of the Turekela police station discovered Tanu’s partially charred body.

Tanu’s body was discovered half-baked, but authorities were able to identify it as her thanks to paperwork found nearby, which her parents later confirmed.
Suraj Aggarwal, who assisted Sachin in the crime while trying to flee from Bolangir to Kolkata, was also apprehended by the police. A simple search of the Whatsapp messages sent by the accused to Tanu’s brother revealed their location.
While the detectives have also discovered Sachin’s connections to drug trafficking and a number of other cases brought against him.
