Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) on Thursday created a Guinness World Record for ‘most people brushing teeth simultaneously’.
As many as 26,382 students of KISS University brushed their teeth simultaneously at a single venue here in Odisha.
The Guinness World Record was achieved when the students of KISS participated an awareness programme on oral health observing the Brush Day in collaboration with Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry-IAPHD and Colgate-Palomolivr (India) Limited.
Previously, the record for ‘The most people brushing teeth simultaneously’ was set by the students of Delhi Public School (DPS) in New Delhi, in which 16,414 persons had taken part the event.
The KISS University had earlier won the Guinness World Records title for ‘largest human sentence’ as well as ‘most simultaneous high-fives’.
