The other dignitaries who were present on this occasion were Phulbani MLA Angad Kanhar and District Collector Dr. Brinda D.

The Kandhamal MP inspected the centre to take stock of the different facilities available in the centre. He also discussed with the officials over standardised training patterns to educate the students here.

The centre has been launched to educate the unemployed youngsters of Kandhamal on how they can prepare themselves to get jobs as per their qualities and qualifications.

The centre has been established under the Prime Minister Skill Development Yojana. Besides, the KIIT soft skill development centre was also inaugurated on this occasion.

Initially, the students will be trained on tailoring and electrician trade in the centre. Adding to that they will also be imparted training on computer applications and speaking English so that it will help them get employed.
