New Delhi: Veteran Indian women pacer Jhulan Goswami on Thursday retired from the T20Is.

She represented India in 68 matches including India’s first ever match in the format back in 2006. She picked up 2/14 in India’s eight-wicket win against England then.

Goswami has picked up 56 wickets in the shortest format of the game which included a five-wicket haul against Australia in 2012.

She, meanwhile, tanked the BCCI and her teammates for all the love and support she garnered during her stint with the T20Is team and wished them luck going forward.

Goswami has played 169 ODIs and 10 Test matches.

Currently, she is the leading wicket-taker in the women’s ODI format and also the first woman cricketer to take 200 ODI wickets.
