Bhubaneswar,December 09: The Ireland hockey team, participating in the Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup, paid a visit to SOS children’s village on Sunday to spend time with kids.
While the Irish team received a rousing welcome from the children and the staff, the team spent time with the kids and interacted with staff. Besides, the players also shared their on-field experiences and later were seen playing cricket with the kids.
The last group-stage match of the Hockey World Cup will be held today at Kalinga Stadium.
While in the first match Germany will face Malaysia in the Pool-D match, in the second match Pakistan will go against Netherland.
