Jaipur,Dec.17 : Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot was sworn in on Monday as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Gehlot has become the 12th Chief Minister of the state.
The state president of the Congress party Sachin Pilot took oath as the deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan at a ceremony here.
Reports said it is Gehlot’s third innings as Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
The Congress President Rahul Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Nationalist Congress Party’s chief Sharad Pawar were some of those who attended the ceremony in Albert Hall.
BJP leader and former Chief Minister of the state Vasundhara Raje was also present at the event.
