Berhampur,Dec.21 : Notorious criminal Jai Pradhan was injured in a police encounter near Changudei hill under Digapahandi police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Friday.
The criminal, who sustained bullet injury in his left leg, has been admitted to MKCG hospital in the city for treatment.
The cops seized a pistol, bullet shells, bombs and a bike from his possession.
Sources said, three police officials including the Inspector In-charge (IIC) of Digapahandi police station also sustained minor injuries during the exchange of fire.
