There won’t be much radiation in 5G, according to Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Communications, Electronics, and Information Technology.

Soon, the eagerly anticipated 5G service will be made available in Odisha. Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister for Communications, Electronics, and Information Technology, announced this on Thursday outside of a programme in Puri.

Although it has been widely speculated that 5G will have an impact on radiation, the minister rejected the idea, claiming that there would be very little radiation in 5G.

“In the initial phase, 5G service would be available in Odisha. It will emit radiation at a rate that is ten times lower than the World Health Organization radiation standards (WHO). The Minister stated that people shouldn’t be concerned.

Notably, users will receive service at a speed that is 30 times faster than 3G and 10 times faster than 4G once it is introduced.

Experts claim that the speed might increase by 100 times. Additionally, because 5G will increase download speed, consumers would no longer have download issues.

For instance, the same file will download in 35 seconds on a 5G network instead of 56 hours on a 2G network, two hours on a 3G network, and 40 minutes on a 4G network. This makes it simple to imagine how quickly our digital lives will progress.
