Epic Group, a prominent Hong Kong-based apparel manufacturer known for its collaborations with some of the world’s top brands, is gearing up to boost foreign direct investment in the state of Odisha, India.
Trimetro Garments India, a subsidiary of the Epic Group, is gearing up to invest Rs. 376.85 crore to establish a cutting-edge apparel manufacturing facility in Odisha’s Khurda district. This ambitious project is expected to create employment opportunities for approximately 7,050 individuals. Notably, it will stand as the largest facility within the Epic Group’s portfolio.
Epic Group has been exploring investment opportunities in India for the past four and a half years. Initially, it had identified Ranchi in Jharkhand as its investment destination. However, the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic prompted a change in plans, and subsequently, the company considered investing in Madhya Pradesh.

In a separate announcement, Epic Group also revealed that its state-of-the-art factory in Jordan is on the verge of commencing operations. This milestone is set to be a mutually beneficial collaboration with the Ad-Dulayl Industrial Zone and the company’s esteemed clientele, contributing to their shared success.
