Bhubaneswar: Don’t worry if you failed to get a ticket to watch the Opening Ceremony of the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar-2018. Still, you have a chance to watch live the mega event, and that too being on the stage, at Kalinga Stadium on November 27.
While releasing the second teaser of ‘Jai Hind India’ – the anthem of Hockey World Cup, Music Maestro AR Rahman gave a ‘Hook Step Challenge’ to the audience and announced that they can be part of the mega event and share stage with him and Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on the opening ceremony.
“Friends, hope you liked the first teaser of Jai Hind India. SRK and I are doing the official hookstep in the next promo and we want you to show your #HeartBeatsForHockey! So, get swanky! Wear a smile, face the light, do the step like us, post on my Facebook page. SRK and I will choose two of you to join us on stage at the #HWCOpeningCeremony on 27th November,” wrote AR Rahman in Facebook.
In the 38-second long video, both Rahman and Shah Rukh are seen doing a simple step of hitting the hockey stick on the ground twice and then thumping the heart with a clenched fist. The simple yet powerful step depicts the phrase ‘My Heart Beats For Hockey’.
The evening on November 27 is going to be a grand affair as the Dhak Dhak girl of Bollywood – Madhuri Dixit – will also perform along with 1100 artists from across the world to highlight the message of the power of a united world with the theme of “The Earth Song” is ‘Oneness of humanity’.
Here is the video. Watch and learn the hookstep and share with the Grammy and Academy Award-winning musician Rahman.
