This week in Padampur, Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik officially opened and laid the cornerstones for projects worth Rs. 4.88 billion.
The Chief Minister laid the cornerstones for various new programmes totaling Rs. 4.58 billion while also dedicating a few finished projects worth about Rs. 300 million.
Twenty lift irrigation projects totaling Rs 200 million were given to the country. For the construction of agricultural marketing infrastructure, an additional Rs 184.80 million was paid.
To increase connectivity in Padampur, a total of Rs 2.60 billion will be invested on the building of 38 new bridges and Rs 1.36 billion on 25 new roads.
For the construction of infrastructure in villages, four rural haats, and market complexes, Rs 90 million has been set aside.
