Aparajita Sarangi, a BJP MP from Bhubaneswar, and senior politician Bijoy Mohapatra have been ousted from the BJP’s State Core Committee, according to JP Nadda, the saffron party’s national president.

Nadda announced the formation of a 15-member State Core Committee, which includes BJP State Unit president Samir Mohanty.

The committee, which is the highest body for the party’s policy determination in the State, includes three Union Ministers: Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Biseswar Tudu.

Among the 15 members are the party’s national vice president Baijayant Panda, national spokesperson Sambit Patra, MPs Jual Oram, Pratap Sarangi, Suresh Pujari, and Basant Panda, Leader of the Opposition in the Odisha Assembly Pradipta Naik, State Organization Secretary Manas Kumar Mohanty, and senior leaders Manmohan Samal, KV Singhdeo, and Surama Padhi.

As special invitee members, the party’s State In-charge for Odisha and National General Secretary D Purandeshwari, as well as State Co-In-Charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, have been added to the list.
