A massive fire at a six-storey factory in Delhi’s Anaj Mandi has caused the deaths of at least 43 people so far. The fire was reported at around 5.22 am, following which 30 fire tenders were rushed to the spot in Anaj Mandi on Rani Jhansi Road in Delhi. A fire official also confirmed that several people, who were trapped inside the factory, died after reaching hospital. The fire squad managed to rush 50 people to four separate hospitals, where many succumbed to their injuries. While some of the people were taken to LNJP Hospital, others were taken to RML Hospital, Lady Hardinge Hospital and Hindu Rao Hospital as well. Speaking to media, Deputy Fire Chief Officer Sunil Choudhary said, “A fire broke out in a 600 sq feet plot. It was very dark inside.
