AMFNEWS.COM is Odisha’s first bilingual (Odia–English) international news and media platform, published under the Associated Media Foundation (Reg. No. KRD/7639-607 of 1997–98) — a pioneering media and publication house with a deep social conscience.
Founded in 1997 by eminent journalist and media pioneer Shri.Prasanta Kumar Patnaik, AMFNEWS stands as a legendary name in ethical, fearless, and people-centric journalism. Over the decades, Mr. Patnaik has shaped the media narrative of Odisha through his unmatched contribution to print, television, and digital platforms.
Guiding AMFNEWS into the modern era is Ms.Rashmi Rekha Patnaik, the Managing Director and Chief Editor, whose dynamic leadership has elevated the organisation into a globally recognised Odia news network. Under her stewardship, AMFNEWS continues to expand its international reach, embracing digital transformation and engaging with the global Odia diaspora (NROs) — connecting Odias worldwide to their roots, culture, and home-state developments.
The Associated Media Foundation (AMF), the parent organisation of AMFNEWS, functions as both a media and publication house and a registered social NGO, actively working in areas of media awareness, youth development, women empowerment, rural journalism, and cultural preservation.
With an experienced editorial board, an expanding digital presence, and correspondents across Odisha and abroad, AMFNEWS continues to deliver accurate, balanced, and insightful news on politics, governance, business, culture, and social change — always driven by its founding motto:
