A maoist reported killed in an encounter occured in Orcha PS area under Narayanpur district of Chattisgarh border to Odisha today.
“Today while returning from a joint search operation performed by DRG & STF Jawans since past couple of days, in between Orchameta and Badetandebeda jungle around 6pm hidden maoists started blind fire on jawans. Jawans also replied with counter fire resulting a death of uniformed maoist. Other maoists succeeded in escaping the area. Jawans took custody of maoist’s body and ascertained 1 rifel along with mao daily use materials”, said SP Jitender Sukla.
