On Sunday, the 8th League Match between Nepal and India in the series of SAFF U-20 Championship matches taking place in Kalinga Stadium of Odisha was officially opened by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra.
Before the game began, Mahapatra and Secretary for Sports and Youth Services R Vineel Krishna greeted the players and officials on the field.
In the presence of Chief Guest Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, the National Anthems of Nepal and India were played one after the other with great respect and pride.
The game has started. Both teams are performing at their highest level and showing off their skills as a cohesive one.
According to the sources, this illustrious Championship match will feature players from 5 different nations. There are a total of 10 matches being played between Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and India.
The teams for the championship game would be chosen based on the number of points they scored throughout league games. The final game is set for August 5, 2022.
