According to Odisha CM, throughout these 75 years, Odisha has demonstrated how to overcome obstacles and achieved a number of milestones.

On the momentous occasion of the 76th Independence Day, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik raised the Tricolor at the exhibition ground in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. He also discussed how the State has changed since gaining its independence in 1947.

The Chief Minister of Odisha spoke to the people of the state and said, “In these 75 years, Odisha has experienced expansion in the agricultural, medical, and educational fields. And a new phase in Odisha’s transition has just started.”

“For all of us Indians, this is a time to celebrate and be proud. In these 75 years, Odisha has demonstrated how to meet obstacles head-on. The State has developed into one of the nation’s major sports hubs. From a food deficit to a food abundance, it thrived. Additionally, it has provided a model for disaster management readiness “CM Naveen stated.

Odisha’s accomplishments have demonstrated the route to growth to others. The State’s priority is universal education. According to him, school transformation has given pupils fresh hope.

The first few thousand of the foundations for rural infrastructure projects have been laid. Additionally, according to Patnaik, SHGs have helped empower about 70 lakh women in Odisha.

315 model schools are serving almost 1 lakh students in Odisha. Additionally, he continued, 50 hostels have been built in the model schools for 5000 female students.
