Today six doctors of Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College and Hospital in Koraput district resigned over non payment of salary. Reportedly, Dr. Sasibhusan Sutar, Dr. Manoj Kirshani, Dr. Dibya Sadangi, Dr. Gurupad Das, Dr. Swapa Sundari and Dr Jayanta Panda of Medicine department were reported heldup salaries over shortage of attendence as per the bio metric machine of the Hospital. For which the College Dean Dr. Krushna Chandra Biswal issued a show cause notice. The patient care in the hospital were affected. The resigned doctors would rejoin duties only after they are paid their rightful salaries.
