As a result of the disease, a 72-year-old woman died in Khurda, bringing the death toll to 9,160. It stated that 53 other people have already passed away as a result of comorbidities.
On Wednesday, 280 illnesses and two fatalities were reported in Odisha.
In the past day, 553 more people were cured of the illness, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 13,11,947. The state now has 2,909 active cases.
In the past 24 hours, 18,036 samples had been screened for the illness, resulting in a daily positivity rate of 2.67 percent.
